2. Access to the Services; AdSense Accounts
Account Creation: You must create and have your AdSense account approved by Google.
Eligibility:
To apply, you need to be at least eighteen years old.
Only one AdSense account is allowed per user/entity.
Violating the one-account rule may result in termination and non-payment.
Permission: By enrolling, you allow Google to:
Display ads, search boxes, and related content on your approved properties (websites, apps, etc.).
Access, index, and cache your properties.
Pre Approval for Apps: Any software application using AdSense must comply with Google’s Software Principles and may need preapproval.
3. Using Our Services
Compliance: You must use AdSense in accordance with the terms, policies, and applicable laws.
Prohibitions: Do not misuse AdSense (e.g., engaging in fraudulent activities or tampering with ads).
Do not interfere with Google's systems or use unauthorized methods.
Business Use Only: AdSense is designed exclusively for professional and commercial purposes.
Discontinuation: You can stop using the service at any time by removing the AdSense code from your properties.
4. Changes to Services and Terms
Google may modify:
Features or functionalities of AdSense.
Terms and policies.
Notification:
Changes will be posted online.
Most changes take effect 14 days after posting, except those made for legal reasons or new features, which are immediate.
Acceptance: If you disagree with the updated terms, you must stop using AdSense.
5. Payment
Payments are based on valid clicks, impressions, and other valid events related to ads on your properties.
Payment occurs only if your account complies with all AdSense terms during the relevant period.
Google has sole discretion to determine payment amounts and validity.
Threshold: Payments are made once your balance reaches the minimum payment threshold.
Delays: Payments may be withheld if:

6. Termination, Suspension, and Entitlement to Further Payment
Suspension or Termination:
Google may suspend or terminate accounts without notice for reasons such as invalid activity or non-compliance.
Inactive accounts (6+ months) may be closed, but balances meeting the payment threshold will be paid.
Non-Payment:
If terminated for violations, you forfeit any unpaid earnings.
You cannot create a new account or monetize content on other Google platforms after termination.
Appeals:
Disputes regarding payment or termination must be submitted within 30 days; otherwise, they are waived.
7. Taxes
Responsibility:
Google handles taxes related to advertiser payments.
Publishers are responsible for any taxes on earnings from AdSense.
8. Testing
Authorization: Google may run tests (e.g., ad placements) on your properties without prior notice to ensure system improvements.
9. Intellectual Property; Brand Features
Both parties retain their respective intellectual property rights.
Google grants a non-exclusive license to use its software for AdSense-related purposes only.
Restrictions:
You cannot modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer Google’s software.
10. Confidentiality
Publishers must keep Google’s non-public information confidential unless required by law or with prior consent.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Google against any claims or liabilities arising from:
Your use of AdSense.
Your breach of the terms or policies.
12. Limitation of Liability
Liabilities: Google is not liable for:
Indirect damages (e.g., lost profits).
Damages exceeding the amount paid to you in the last three months.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by California law unless specified otherwise based on your location.
14. Miscellaneous
Third-party beneficiary rights are not created by these agreements.
Google may assign its rights under these terms without notice.
If any part of the terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
By using AdSense, publishers agree to abide by these detailed terms. Non-compliance can lead to penalties, including payment forfeiture and account termination.
